ISAB Member Management Measures

To ensure the proper operation of ISAB and to protect the rights and reputations of all individuals associated with ISAB, the "ISAB Member Management Measures" have been established as a standard.

  1. ISAB members are categorized as Full Members, Related Persons, and Honourable Members.
  2. Admission as a Full Member requires the approval of the ISAB Executive Committee and a vote by the heads of each department, with a required two-thirds majority for acceptance. (*)
  3. Admission as a Related Person requires approval from the head of any ISAB department and subsequent reporting to the ISAB Executive Committee. (*)
  4. Honourable Member status is granted to individuals who have made significant contributions to ISAB or who no longer participate in ISAB activities as Full Members or Related Persons. This status is conferred by the ISAB Executive Committee. (*)
  5. Should any Full Member or Related Person apply to withdraw from ISAB, they will automatically be granted Honourable Member status upon their departure.
  6. All ISAB members will be issued ISAB identification documents.
  7. Honourable Members have the right to request that ISAB exercise the right to be forgotten in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, by which ISAB is required to delete all data related to the Honourable Member.

All the above provisions apply to all ISAB members. Provisions marked with "*" apply to those who join ISAB on or after January 1, 2024.
